== T7.1 Software Integration, Validation and Release ==

=== E-IIS Activities ===

E-IIS coordinated the integration process of gCube release 2.13.0, eventually released on March the 20th. In total 20 integration builds of the entire project plus several partial builds have been executed. E-IIS scheduled execution of deployment tests of all services in the release and opened tickets for detected issues. 

E-IIS worked at the set-up of a new ETICS instance at E-IIS facilities. An initial partial import of gCube data has been done and several tests have been carried out of the new instance's functionalities and BTRT's builds. The import scripts have been slightly improved to handle better potential issues during the final import.

E-IIS carried out tests for adoption of jdk 1.7 in future gCube releases. In particular, in this phase, integration of gCube components with jdk 1.7 has been tested carrying out some builds of the entire projects and analysing the results.

=== NKUA Activities ===
NKUA has updated the gCube Distribution site for 2.13.0 release by inserting the corresponding entry in the database. Furthermore, the news for the maintenance release of gCube 2.13.0 have been published and are available [https://www.gcube-system.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=369&catid=2:news&Itemid=1 here].

Finally, the design of the Documentation Validation procedure has finished ([https://issue.imarine.research-infrastructures.eu/ticket/1430 #1430]). The process will continue by assigning the corresponding reviewers and authors for every section.
