This WP4 Activity Report described the activities performed in February 2012 by Beneficiary and Task.

T4.1 Communication and Dissemination
Trust-IT Activities
- Generation and modification of iMarine flyer.
- Generation of iMarine value proposition text for FAO internal mailing
- 3rd Marine Board Forum "New Technologies for a Blue Future" (18/04/12, Brussels): flash presentation abstract in collaboration with CNR
- Desk research for iMarine Dissemination Database contacts
- Desk research for pertinent news, events & documents for iMarine channel
- Refining channel pages
- Generation of synergy simulations with iMarine partners and board members (internal to Trust to-date);

CNR Activities
CNR participated to main events in the reporting period:
- ScienceSoft: ScienceSoft an initiative to coordinate and promote the development and use of open source software for scientific research. The meeting was held at CERN, Geneva (CH), and CNR represented the gCube system consortium. gCube is a large open-source system and its requirements helped in the definition of the ScienceSoft road-map.
- CloudScape: CloudScape is a key workshop in the cloud computing area focusing on interoperability issues. It involves key Standard Development Organizations and Distributed Computing Infrastructures. CNR presented iMarine as a Hybrid Data Infrastructure using cloud and private resources to satisfy the needs of its large and heterogeneous community.
It also reviewed the promotional material, and commented on site structure and content.

- iMarine has been promoted at the CloudScape workshop.

FAO Activities
FAO reviewed the promotional material, and commented on site structure.
FAO is actively using the iMarine Board channel in the run-up to the iMarine Board Meeting in March, Rome.

T4.2 Knowledge Management Channel
Trust-IT Activities
Update and upload of content on the channel. Generation and fine tuning of the web conference system & corresponding manual. Cfreation of iMarine TCom event registration form.

Web conference system on-line & functional at end February 2012.
