IRD Activities

This period has been dedicated to clarify guidelines for data and processes providers of geospatial cluster as well as defining the tuna atlas use case which is going to be related to fact sheet generation task.

By trying to merge CSW servers of FAO and IRD we emphasize the needs to share common methods for metadata generation that can benefit the infrastructure to generate good quality metadata.

. The meeting hold in Sète with FAO about geospatial and semantic cluster has been useful to produce a report containing guidelines for both geospatial and semantic clusters. Details are given about how to implement ISO 19115 and 19119 (19139 standard) to describe both datasets and services. Some effort has been dedicated to describe processes to feed iMarines WPS. Regarding the fact sheet generator, a common use case about the tuna atlas has been discussed and presented at the Tcom in Oostend.
