This WP1 Activity Report described the activities performed in November 2013 by Beneficiary and Task.

T1.1 Administration of the Grant Agreement and Related Activities
The main activities for this period were concentrated on two topics:
- Exchanging with NKUA and the EC in order to find a possible solution for the missing CFS; and
- Interacting with the Steering Board to analyze the financial requests included in the proposal received for "Strategy for the development of an iMarine Public Partnership centered Business Model"
- The EC will continue processing the Period 2 cost claim for the consortium, rejecting the NKUA costs for the period on the basis of "non-submission of the CFS". The NKUA will provide a final cost statement with an adjustment including the Period 2 costs at project end.
- A new Description of Work (including new activities) must be produced before year end.
The Project Officer agreed to a 4 month project extension, on condition that new activities are included in the DoW.
T1.2 Resource Management
ERCIM performed a thorough financial analysis of the project's remaining funds, in particular those related to sub-contracting allocations. A financial report was provided to the Scientific and Technical Coordinators, and a summary of this report was provided to the Steering Board.
Exchanges were made with FAO for understanding the remaining financial requirements for the iMarine Board and Advisory Council meetings and related travel.
Exchanges were made with FAO and CNR for understanding the resource allocation required for the NeafC related work.
Exchanges were made with the "mini-consortium" proposing to undertake the new Task 3.4 for sustainability in order to obtain clarification on their financial requirements.
All of the new information obtained must be integrated into a new Description of Work and proposed resource allocations must be put to vote by the Governing Board.
A sound financial plan has been defined that should carry iMarine successfully to project end (including the 4 month extension), subject to the approval of all consortium members.
