Main Discussions and Actions

On April 2013 Activity Report

On WP1 Activity:

  • A summary of the activity is here;

Review the 12 of September in Brussels, the first rehearsal is scheduled the 2 of September in Rome at FAO. the second rehearsal will be in Brussels the 11 september.

we should work on the agenda of the review by the send to the PO by the end of June.

GA is organized on the 13th of September ( only in the morning).

The next payment is scheduled by hte end of the year beginning of next year.

The subcontract with Edward is ready, so he is back in the project.

TD said that as communicated the BSCW has been dismissed. so the mail about the P2 report preparation has to be resend with the new links pointing to the workspace.

PO and reviewer should have to be updated with the new addresses.

The status of the deliverables should be revised in order to understand if they have to be upgraded. Each WP leader should perform this activity

The preparation of the first rehearsal should be carefully performed cause during that week there will be also the meeting in Rome.

On WP2 Activity:

  • A summary of the activity is here;

Donatella explained the major achievement like the organization of the iMarine events in Brussels.

A lot of synergies are going to established.

On WP3 Activity:

  • A summary of the activity is here;
  • The activities reported in WP3 to promotion of iMarine should be announced to WP4 also.
    • Anton should ask Hervè to add details;
  • On FAO Layers and Metadata exposed via FAO GeoNetwork
    • it seems they are not compliant with INSPIRE directive. From the project point of view it is fundamental to understand how much important is to be compliant with INSPIRE;
      • Also the metadata iMarine currently publishes are not compliant with INSPIRE;
    • Anton will reply on this at the TCom;
  • The previously scheduled conference calls to involve and plan activities with CRIA, UNESCO, IRD, etc.
    • it was challenging for Anton to organise them;
    • none of them occurred, in essence they are post-poned;
  • On Fabio Fiorellato "species matching facilities"
    • there was a personal communication on this;
    • only recently WP5 and WP6 have been involved;
    • further discussion is needed to properly plan the integration;

On WP4 Activity:

  • A summary of the activity is here;

Sara talked about some events. Mark is going to attend a meeting next week in Brussels, and WP4 prepared the fliers.

Blue Hackaton we had a conf conf yesterday. we decided to write down the API and the documentation. ( Andrea to work on it), Donatella asked if we should have more adverstisement on this.

Donatella asked if we could disseminate better the event also to other EU proejct partners. George asked also if possible to send link to some presentation made by the consortium that is going to be presented also there

George said something about the Vibrant meeting that according to him will be better coorcanized with the TCOM in Crete ( wherever it will be)

Donatella asked to update the report for WP4.

Effort on the training should be given during the next 2 weeks, the first trainign video will be published soon.

The content of the website should be revised according to the input coming from an activity that is producing a catalogue of services available in iMarine. Activity to be completed by Lino, Anton and Andrea by the 12th of July.

On WP5 Activity:

  • A summary of the activity is here;
  • (this is a generic comment) By loocking at the "by partners" reports, it seems that there is a limited usage of links to TRAC tickets;
    • this attitude should change. The WP leader should verify and ask contributors to do that;

On WP6 Activity:

  • A summary of the activity is here;
  • No activity reported by FIN, CRIA, UNESCO and IRD.
    • The major problem is related with missing contribution from some partners, some of them are doing activity although not reporting while others are not doing any activity the project is aware of;
  • As soon as the search VRE is ready, also the mobile application will be released;
    • there is an issue with indexing;

On WP7 Activity:

  • A summary of the activity is here;

release 2.15 is going to be closed on Monday

All nodes on the testing have been migrated to JAVA 7 and no issues have been found. ( it should be reported during the tcom )

ETICS performance improvements completed.

Delivarable D7.3 is a little bit in delay, but it's important to complete it on time.

On WP8 Activity:

  • A summary of the activity is here;

nothing to add

On WP9 Activity:

  • A summary of the activity is here;

Difficult to understand the scope of the activity from Terradue and IRD. We should see if IRD will be present on the TCOM and ask some clarifications there.

On WP10 Activity:

  • A summary of the activity is here;

nothing to add

On WP11 Activity:
